1083 (Uxbridge) Squadron is a high achieving unit within the RAF Air Cadets. We meet at our headquarters on Monday and Thursday evenings between 19.15 to 21.45. We also have activities which take place at the weekend.

The squadron is run by its Commanding Officer, who looks after a good staff team which includes officers, NCO, service instructors and civilian instructors. This team provide an all round training program for the cadets who attend the unit.

Our cadet structure is build from the ground upwards. The cadets are the forefront of the unit, who are mentored by our cadet NCO team. Their knowledge and experience of the organisation works to help the unit succeed in its goal to provide quality aviation and life training to young people.

We believe there is something for everyone at 1083. Whether your interest is in aeronautics, music, sport or adventure, there are activities running throughout the training programme to further your interests.
