About 1083 Squadron
The Committee

1083 (Uxbridge) Squadron air cadets are based at Royal Air Force Uxbridge in Middlesex. The staff are all very much dedicated and highly motivated to delivering exciting opportunities to 13-20 year olds, male or female, in a whole range of activities.

Uxbridge Air Training Corps hold Parade nights twice a week - Mondays and Thursdays, where Squadron Cadets typically progress through the ATC training syllabus and partake in activities such as drill, sports, team building, Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme activities, sports, adventure training and team building, as well as staff-led projects such as areo modeling, radio, first aid and media. Both Parade nights run from 1900 hrs to 2130 hrs.

As well as parade nights, 1083 Squadron participates in many annual camps to RAF bases and even exchanges to some countries further afield.

Whether staying as a cadet or moving up the ranks and becoming staff, being a member of 1083 Squadron is one opportunity you don't want to miss.

This website has been designed to provide information, news and diary dates for potential recruits and their parents as well as current 1083 air cadets and others in the Air Training Corps. If you have any questions, please use the contact us page.
